On Tuesday, the Boys JV Soccer team competed against Waterford Kettering. The Captains took an early lead 0-1, but Brock Vinter tied it up 1-1. With 8 minutes left in the 1st half, Lakeland's Genki Kondo scored on an assist from Brock Vinter to take the lead 2-1. Six minutes later, Tommy White scored to increase the Eagle's lead 3-1.
In the second half, Kettering scored three consecutive goals to take the bead, but Lakeland's Ben Geromette tied it up 4-4. The Eagles finished strong scoring two goals in the last 10 minutes: Jay Hensley scored on an assist from Bock Vinter to take the lead 5-4, then Gabe Wright had a phenomenal goal to clinch the game with a Lakeland 6-4 victory!
